Programs and Services
At the Black Maternal Health Collective, our work is rooted in community, driven by data, and centers lived experience. We advance health equity through four core pillars: advocacy, education, research, and scholarships. Each is designed to challenge systems, uplift Black voices, and build a future where every Black birthing person is seen, heard, and safe.
Advocacy
Advocacy is at the heart of our work. For over five years, we’ve spoken truth to power—elevating the voices of Black birthing people, influencing policy, and challenging systems that fail our communities. Explore our journey below.

Through the Diaspora
This year, we set our sights across oceans and borders, tracing the threads that connect Black birthing people around the world. From village clinics to city hospitals, from ancestral wisdom to modern advocacy, we’re lifting up the voices of those working to save Black lives across the diaspora. Join us on this unfolding journey—a global tapestry of resistance, healing, and radical hope.
